Mandatory Safety Briefing Aligns Everyone on the Same Rules

We gather all riders for a quick walk‑through flag meanings, pit‑lane flow, and emergency procedures. Ability‑matched groups mean you ride with people at your pace, from first‑time track riders to seasoned racers.

Gear and Bike Pass Inspection Before Your First Lap

  • Leathers, Helmet, Gloves, Boots: All must meet MA standards; back protector strongly recommended.
  • Bike Tech Check: Mirrors taped or removed, fluid caps tight, no leaks, self‑closing throttle, plenty of tread on tyres and wear left on brake pads.
  • Scrutineer Stamp: You’ll receive a stamp on your bike, MVTC crew check it before you roll out.

The Warm‑Up Lap Heats Tyres and Settles Nerves

Your opening session is designated warm‑up: ease into so rubber, brakes and muscles come up to temperature safely.

Rider Etiquette Turns Sessions into Smooth, Safe Fun

  • Hold a Predictable Line. Ride your pace; do not look behind you to see how is coming, faster riders will find safe ways past.
  • Signal Exits and Issues. Hand up or leg out before peeling into the pits or slowing suddenly.
  • Pass Safely. Always leave at least two metres when passing.
  • Group Size Capped at 20. More space equals more learning and less stress.

Incident Protocols Keep Help Close and Riders Protected

If you see a yellow flag, slow and hold line; a red flag means session stop, raise a hand and return to pits. Crash or mechanical? Whenever possible get off the track, stay clear and wait for marshals and the medical team already on standby.
